CDC suicide stats for farmers could be wrong, but the struggle remains

A widely cited CDC study revealing suicide rates of different occupations in the U.S., including farmers has been retracted because it may contain flawed data. But that won’t stop a Livingston County woman and suicide awareness advocate who is working with a two-time Emmy-award-winning documentary filmmaker and producer to develop a documentary about the mental heath struggles and suicide crisis farmers are facing today.
